Agriculture Technology Advancement Sub-Program
The Agriculture Technology Advancement Sub-Program supports implementation and adoption of technologies and best management practices that lead to improved efficiencies and increased profit margins.
Applied Research Sub-Program
The Applied Research Sub-Program supports the undertaking of short-term applied research that will yield economic benefits to the PEI agriculture industry. Research funded under this sub-program will provide data to develop new production methods, fill information gaps, and provide support to emerging commodities.

Agriculture Resiliency Research Sub-Program
This sub-program is designed to support research efforts and industry development activities to better evaluate and develop resilience and adaptive capacity in the Island’s agriculture sector. The goal is to support the PEI agriculture industry to identify, prioritize and develop agriculture adaptation and resilience initiatives.

Agri-Environmental Trials
Demonstrations and trials of new Beneficial Management Practices can assist in understanding the benefits and challenges of implementation of the BMP, as well as demonstrate the practice and transfer knowledge within the industry.
Future Farmer Program

The Future Farmer Program supports new farmers to improve the probability that they establish or continue profitable and sustainable commercial farm businesses. The program will help new entrants identify and prioritize their business goals and will help them identify planning, management, and technical skills that are needed to reach their goals.
Organic Industry Development Program

Specialized Equipment Sub-Program
The Specialized Equipment Sub-Program supports organic producers to purchase equipment which will assist the implementation of pest management and soil fertility practices which will improve efficiency and competitiveness on organic farms.
