Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership

It is a two-step process. Once you’ve submitted your application, received your approval paperwork, signed and returned your funding agreements and completed the project, you must then submit a claim for reimbursement. Claim documents usually consist of a claim form, all appropriate detailed invoices, proof of payments for all invoices, and a final report. Some programs may not require all these claim documents, or some may require more. These details are outlined in the approval letter and/or Schedule A of the funding agreement. Please contact the Program Officer that signed your approval letter if you have questions.

If paid for by cheque - a copy of the front and back of cancelled cheques is preferred. If paid for by e-transfer - copies of bank statements identifying who the account belongs to, the payment date, the payment amount, and the vendor’s information (who the payment went to). If paid for by credit card – a copy of the receipt is preferred, or an official invoice showing it was paid for by credit card with a zero balance owing. If purchased online with a credit card – the confirmation email and/or E-receipt showing all details (payee, vendor, date, amount, payment method) is preferred.
